Woke up this morning to a carpet of snow!
It's just so beautiful. I think I'm a snow angel or something from another planet.

It is -1 C at the moment & it's 3.20pm on Sat. Most of it has melted, but it's still on a lot of cars as they go past, with their roofs & bonnets covered in snow.
The day I leave it's predicted to be mostly sunny, so things are looking up in Europe.

Have a look at this...we aren't the only one's who use the window sill as a fridge!

Don't know exactly how I'm going to plan the next week, but it's looking like..

Germany on Wed from here, by Eurolines...4-5 hrs to Munich.
Go to Interlaken by train from Munich?
Stay there 4-5-6-7 days & do day tours to...

• Innsbruk,
• Salzburg (Sound of Music country, with the original company who drove the cast around)
• Laterbrutten
• Jungfrauch chairlift to top of Europe 
• Fussen to see King Ludwigg's Castles

There are so many small trips you can take, you get carried away checking them all out!

From all accounts it seems a lot of people think the train ride from Edinburgh to Inverness in Scotland, is one of the most picturesque in the world! So, when I get there, I'll do that one, for sure.

This array of liquids on our sill are cooling down for the boys...
In our rooms, we have 2 sets of windows. The one you see & another one that closes over it, which you can just see the bottom of in the right lower corner.

The ones over the street from us are double glazed, so they only have one window to open. We have 2, but only need to open one & keep the goodies "inside", but they still get mighty cold when you shut the other set of windows on them.

Just noticed this...Have a look on the far right top window ledge...Someone has their lunch box of goodies out there too!
